Meet Ray and Julie
Why Iris Photography, you ask? Well, whilst on holiday in New York at Christmas (which was terrific) we came across an iris photography studio in Times Square and were blown away by the stunning works of art they had on display. Just think of the billions of people on our planet, and everybody’s eyes are unique. Fast forward several months and a lot of time and research. We have redesigned one of our studios and are now ready to capture the essence of life through Iris photography. We are excited to share our love for this unique art form with you. Frequently Asked Questions?
How do we photograph your eye?
We use specialist equipment similar to an optician. We will need to shine a bright light into your eye (it’s totally safe) but unsuitable if you suffer from light sensitivity.
Can I bring my children ?
The minimum age limit is three years old and must be able to follow basic instructions.
How long will it take?
Only a few minutes per person to photograph your iris. Then you will be required to choose your final iris design from a selection we offer.
Can I get more than one design?
Yes, you can at an additional cost.
What if you can't photograph my eye?
Sometimes, if your eye is very watery it can make the end result soft. If the result doesn’t meet our high standards we may ask you to photograph your eye again.

Investment
Come and visit us for your iris portrait session! We will discuss with you exactly how your session is going to run. We can also give you a few hints and tips for achieving the best iris portrait of you we can.
You will be invited back to our studio one to two weeks after your session to view the stunning images of your iris. At this point, you decide which package you would like to purchase or not.
We charge £99, non-refundable, for the shoot, for attending and taking the pictures. The £99 will be deducted from your final order. If you wish to choose, you can pick from our three available options listed below on pricing and packages. You only select once you’ve seen your photos from your iris portrait session.
You are not obligated to purchase a single image if you do not wish too.
In that case, the shoot will have cost you £99. Should you, however, wish to order a collection due to the time involved in editing/processing, ordering printing, etc. or creating multiple versions of files, our minimum order fee is £399.
