Welcome to Rachel and Chris’s sneak peeks from their wedding celebration captured at the beautiful Saltmarshe Hall.

This is a small selection of what we captured for our couple. Can we just say these photos were taken on one of the hottest days of the year, the temperature was 29 degrees but Rachel held up well in her beautiful wedding dress.

Before every couple’s big day you’ll sit down with Ray & Julie Photography, as your Yorkshire Wedding Photographers to discuss your special wedding day. Rachel and Chris knew what they wanted regarding their wedding photography. We’re more than happy to take direction from our couples but were always on hand to direct if needed. We offer a complimentary engagement shoot so you get used to being photographed and to put you both at ease, we all get to know each other better which will ensure we get stunning photographs as you’ll be more relaxed. Style-wise Rachel and Chris wanted a bit of everything and trusted us as professional award-winning photographers to capture their memories.

Bridal Prep

Rachel looks stunning in her beautiful wedding dress from Chloë Jane Bridalwear, whilst getting ready in the Yorkshire Suite, her hair and make-up specialist was the talented Kym Hurst.

Chris was also getting ready in the Howdenshire Suite, all was very relaxed and chilled apart from the temperature!

The Ceremony

Due to Covid restrictions at the time, the ceremony could only be held outdoors. So we obviously prayed for good weather, as professional photographers we can work in any weather conditions. On the day it was 29 degrees! But can we just say the whole bridal party never complained through the day, nor did Rachel in her wedding dress but she did appreciate Julie wafting her dress during the day whilst laying her dress out for photographs. All Occasions Florist had provided all the beautiful flowers on the day.

The outdoor Lime tree avenue was perfect and shaded for the woodland-themed wedding ceremony it was all beautifully maintained and is a credit to Saltmarshe Hall and the ground staff.

The Reception

We’ve taken lots of photographs of the reception including speeches, guests, candid shots, here a just a few.

Bridal Portraits

We love bridal portraits! It’s a moment when we have time with our couples alone to capture some stunning bridal photographs. We listen to our couples and capture what they want, at the end of the day they will be yours and for future generations forever too love.

First dance with vocals by the very good Nick Keen.

This photograph captures our couple perfectly. It was a pleasure to capture their memories, looking forward to showing them the rest of their wedding photographs.
